Gold Coast theme park Warner Bros. Movie World has officially announced the return of its popular after-dark event, Fright Nights, on selected nights throughout October.
Fright Nights 2025 will feature two all-new mazes, Krypt of Kain and Eternal Dark, designed to deliver a whole new level of terror. Guests will be able to explore five terrifying mazes, five gruesome precincts, eight panic rooms, and four Warner Bros. Horror Encounters throughout the park.
For thrill-seekers, Movie World rides will remain open during the event, and for the first time, the park’s Flight of the Wicked Witch will operate exclusively for Fright Nights attendees.

A spokesperson for Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Renee Soutar, described the event as “the Gold Coast’s best Halloween event,” adding that the team has been working tirelessly to bring the horror to life. “We can’t wait for guests to experience what will be one of the scariest and most thrilling events in our history,” she said.
With its mix of heart-pounding mazes, immersive horror experiences, and adrenaline-pumping rides, Fright Nights promises to be a must-visit event for fans of fright on the Gold Coast this Halloween season.
